Goal - LFB needed a quick and easy way to report and locate lost items in their area
Challenges - The app had to make the reporting process very quick, so that even less expensive items like umbrellas could be reported effortlessly
Solution - We broke down the process of reporting items into two simple steps - select a city and describe the item. Item reporting also had a very simple interface where one could select a category of products, upload a photo and drop a pin on the map for location (or simply type the first few letters of the city to see quick suggestions, instead of manually scrolling through a long list of cities). I also art directed the app to resemble a modern take on the nostalgic lost-found cardboard box!
Here's the information architecture.
I did a very quick wireframing on this project and dived right into developing the key screens. This is because of the nature of the project - small team and short turnaround time!
