AECT 2020 Award winner! Nova Southeastern University  'Outstanding Instructional Design by a Graduate Student' Award

Microbe's Journey is a browser based game that takes users through 5 billion years of Microbial History of Earth in an interactive way. Game interaction data was collected from an online classroom, along with interviews and surveys - to understand how games can be integrated in digital learning environments to strengthen domain-specific understanding.

Designed for undergraduate microbiology students, but because of the visual appeal and relevance, this was also used by middle/high schoolers.

I was the designer and researcher on this game as part of my Graduate Assistantship at Penn State University's World Campus Research.
