Claytons is a card game to help children practice addition by grouping numbers.
Claytons are cute characters made of clay. Each clayton represents a number – 1, 5, 10 or 100 First, we set the timer to 20-30 minutes. Each player gets 10 random cards. The rest of the cards go in the trading deck.Players are supposed to group small numbers into large numbers by trading cards. For example – Two Fives can be traded for one ten..Or Ten tens can be traded for one hundred. The ghost card can be traded for any of the four numbers – 1, 5, 10 or 100. For example one 5 and one ghost, can be traded for a 10. The player who ends up with the least number of cards, wins.
